Rebecca Bangfield
Indie Folk-pop Artist from Norway
Untangling Success
Rebecca Bangfield is NRK P3's "Urørt Artist of March 2026"
March 2026 has marked a definitive turning point for Rebecca Bangfield, as the Norwegian-Greek indie/folk-pop artist is officially crowned NRK P3’s "Månedens Urørt" (Untamed Artist of the month of March) with her song "Soft Landing" from the EP Untangling. This prestigious recognition follows a whirlwind year for Bangfield, who has rapidly transitioned from a standout contestant on The Voice 2024 (mentored by Espen Lind) to one of Scandinavia’s most essential new musical voices.
The "Urørt" title is a significant boost for an artist who has already played high-profile support slots for the likes of Malin Pettersen, Hajk, and Bayker Blankenship. With monthly listeners on Spotify steadily climbing and her music being featured on flagship playlists like "Ny Pop," the award cements her status as a major force in the Norwegian music scene. As Bangfield herself puts it, her previous work was just the beginning, and Untangling is the continuation.

Newest Release: Untangling (EP)
Bangfield released the EP Bundle of Bones in 2023, went on to compete in The Voice in 2024, before a stroke of luck led her to a support slot for Malin Pettersen in Oslo. From there, word started to spread. Support gigs for Norwegian indie heroes Hajk and the young American Bayker Blankenship followed. She entered the studio with Hans Kristian Nordin (tigerstate, For You), signed with Jansen Records, and now we are here: with the impressive EP Untangling.
Untangling released through Jansen Records on January 16th, 2026.
